Spanish cuisine is influenced by Spain’s location, surrounded by the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. Seafood is plentiful and popular in traditional Spanish dishes. Spanish cuisine has also been highly influenced by the many international destinations in which Spain once conquered.

Baby Tamal

Chicken or Beef in Green Sauce, In Mexico we call a baby tamal because the baby looks like traditional steamed corn dish wrapped in its corn husk, and like babies, they are loved by everyone.

Mexican Street Corn recipe is a common Mexican street food that is made by grilling corn on the cob and then coating it with a sauce made up of mayonnaise, sour cream, cotija cheese, chile powder, and lime.

A tostada is a Mexican favorite that has a fried corn tortilla base and is served up with refried beans, meat, and toppings of your choice, usually with fresh vegetables and your favorite sauces. You can find tostadas with ground beef, chicken, pork, or even avocado.

VALENCIANA PAELLA

It arises in the rural areas of Valencia between the 15th and 16th centuries, due to the need of peasants and shepherds of an easy meal to prepare with the ingredients that they had in the field.  It is said that they were the ones who cooked for their wife’s and that’s where the name Paella came from. (For her)

SEAFOOD PAELLA

Paella arises in rural areas of Valencia between the 15th and 16th centuries, due to the need of the peasants and shepherds of an easy meal to prepare and with the ingredients that they had on hand in the field.                                                          

BLACK PAELLA

Paella or black rice is a Mediterranean dish characterized by its striking black color. That black color comes from squid ink.

FIDEUA

The fideua is an original specialty of Gandia and spread throughout the Valencian Community. It is a pasta dish with a deep-sea flavor, but it is cooked in a paella and in a similar way to a seafood rice. Its origin, like that of many paellas and stews, is found in the customs of fishermen and sailors.

SPANISH CAKE

The potato omelette was invented in Extremadura in 1798. Until now the legend of the invention (or rather recipe) was in Navarra in 1835 when General Tomas de Zumalacarregui during the siege of Bilbao in the First Carlist War was looking for cheap and nutritious food for his troops.

GALICIAN OCTOPUS

Named in this way because of its origin in the fairs of the Maragatos who returned from the Galician lands with dried octopus. In fact, this was one of the few marine products that traveled to the plateau, he rehydrated it with olive oil and seasoned with his peppers.

BONELESS BAKED PORK LEG

The fresh leg of pork, also known as pernil, is the hind limb (serrano), the fresh leg of pork is available with and without bone.

BRAVAS POTATOES AIOLI

The origin of the dish comes from two Madrid establishments that currently no longer exist: La Casa Perico and La Casona. Much is said about which of the two places was really the creator of the patatas bravas, but around 1960 the queues to try this flat they were mythical.

CHORIZO WITH CIDER

Chorizo a la cider is a preparation of Asturian cuisine in which Asturian chorizos (a variety of chorizo) are cooked after being lightly roasted. It is frequently served in some bars as an aperitif in a clay pot, being accompanied by typical drinks such as cider, wine or beer.

SPANISH CHICKEN

Chicken, olive oil, onion, garlic, red bell peppers, ham, tomato, white wine, black and green olives, tomato sauce.

TAPAS

Another version of the origin of the creation of the term tapa relates that it was on the occasion of a visit by King Alfonso XIII to the province of Cádiz, where he stopped with his entire entourage to have a sherry wine at an inn in the area, called ¨ventorrillo del Chato¨ (they still exist today).

PIQUITOS STUFFED WITH MEAT AND FRUITS

Stuffed peppers are a present dish, under different names and forms. In traditions egg, herbs and spices (especially paprika and parsley). Various varieties of pepper are used, such as piquillo.

SPANISH STYLE OSSOBUCO

The name ossobuco literally means «hollow bone» in reference to the original Italian meat stew from the Lombardy area, whose main ingredient is a special cut of veal sausage.

Some people believe that this dessert originated in Mexico, but its origin is in China and it reached Mexican lands thanks to Portuguese merchants, who tasted the ‘youtiao’ also known as ‘fried demon’ or ‘plane in oil ‘.

I am a Mexican photographer, after my master’s studies in sociology, I decided to continue my talent and dedication to artistic photography. Thus began my career as a wedding photographer. In the last ten years I have specialized in weddings and social photography. Immortalize with my camera unique and unrepeatable moments. My style clings to the way I connect, I feel an interaction with the couple; achieve the ideal environment for people to feel comfortable in front of my camera. My ability to capture the most moving gesture, at the right moment in the right place, playing with the nature of the light and the environment make your images truly works of art.
